Perfect sunny spot for afternoon lunch this time of year (winter). Fish tacos and creamy chicken dish were both delicious. Not very fast service, but we were in no hurry.
We love coming to Zazil! It has everything, delicious drinks, the best chips and salsa, delicious food, and friendly family seating. We sat outside on a bench and watched the foot traffic from shoppers and movie goers. They had adequate heaters warming their patio and I was able to take off my winter coat. My daughter was so happy with how fast the food arrived and they catered to her every whim. They served her water with a lid and straw, asked her questions, and made sure our food was quick to arrive. We recommend the enchiladas suizas with beans on the side. Almost everything there is delicious and authentic.
It was a beautiful vibe indoors on a rainy day for lunch. The server was very nice and helpful. We ordered all vegetarian dishes and they were very flavorful- Chile relleno, tofu tacos, guacamole! Highly Recommend ordering the house spicy salsa!
Our waitress Lisa was very friendly and informative when asked for drink recommendations! Food was good and portions were quite sizable. The guacamole was especially good, and not too spicy even with jalapenos.
Delicious delicious delicious !!!! We tried chile relleno and chicken enchiladas . Both bursting with flavors. Excellent service and beautiful ambiance.
I am biased, I Santana Row. I could fill up eating and drinking at all of the restaurants on this little strip. I met a friend for lunch/brunch on a Saturday. There was live music in the courtyard next to the restaurant, added bonus. She had chilaquiles with (vegan option) Chorizo and I had the breakfast tacos. We also got the table side guac. Everything was great. We got a vodka, blueberry and Red Bull drink that was very refreshing. Great flavors. Service was great. They even found my friend’s daughter‘s little pink sweater and set it aside when we came back for it. She lives on the Row and this is one of her favorite places.
If you’re looking for authentic Mexican cuisine with a vibrant atmosphere, this spot is a must-visit! The food was absolutely delicious—from the fresh guacamole to the flavorful shrimp ceviche, every bite was on point. The homemade tortillas really elevated the experience and paired perfectly with everything we ordered. Jesus, the bartender, was fantastic—attentive, helpful, and he makes a mean Old Fashioned. His drink recommendations were spot on, and his service made us feel right at home. We also enjoyed the live music playing outside—it added such a fun and festive vibe to the evening. Whether you’re going out for a date night, dinner with friends, or just looking to unwind with good food and drinks, I highly recommend this place. We’ll definitely be back!
